My Most Memorable Wedding Moment

My oldest child, Nathan, was about three years old when he served as a ring bearer. I'd been on the bride's side many times, but had never stood with the groom and his friends as they waited for the wedding to begin. Let me tell you, it wasn't nearly as great as I thought it would be.

On the bride's side, we always laughed and cut up. We had water and snacks. On the groom's side, there's no snacks. If you want water, you head down the hall to the nearest water fountain. And there's no laughing or joking--the men act as if they're waiting for an execution. That was definitely an eye opening moment! The bride has the VIP room, for sure!
